Remember back in the day when we were young and stupid? Well, theses days, kids are young and smart, some too smart for their little selves. I had a blast at the children's day special at church, David's Christian Center, DCC @ Fatbems Mile2, yeah, that's the location for today. The interesting part of the service was when my pastor, pastor Kingsley okonkwo spoke about the child porn viral video, on the internet. Now, I really don't know what to say, but seriously, where are the parents of these kids, the girl who is 11years old and the boy, 4years old?, And are these adults who trained them using them for an artificial intelligence test of some kind to prove that kids are now smart or something? I know we are in the 21st century where everything now happens, not a century where anything can happen, but that does not change the fact that we, the older generation can not help carve our future, or can not help save these preserved generation as we fondly call them at DCC, even if the parents have abandoned them, and we too can not save them physically, I strongly believe our prayers can! Say a prayer tonight for the younger generation, and be specific, also add to the prayer saying "
May science and technology not kill our generation, but rather help it grow positively". And an amen to that.
I'm home now, the festac Crib, got so much on my mind right now, but the most disturbing issue is that of yesterdays, I think I may be going through a development phase right now and trust me, a man can not be me problem ever, anymore though. I realised today that as a young, single, hot lady living in lagos, (laughing hard), you can either attract the wrong set of guys to you or the right set of guys. Yes I know, people say, "vien, you aint getting younger you know", but trust me, I know what I'm doing, that's a good movie line, the kind Captain Jack Sparrow says and then he does otherwise, but really, I'm just at this point in my life where I want to be happy, but guess they all want to be happy and forget my own happiness, hmm, what a way to go brother! I am not going to bargain my happiness ever. Oh, my, its time to eat, read, surf the net, see a movie, the avengers by the way is a must watch guys, make sure you see it, and yes, ild be back soon for more updates. Miss you already, till later, its adios amigos and see y' all later alligators.
