R.I.P GOLDIE- The true cause of death of Goldie Harvey

Glad I can say T.G.I.F, I am thankful for today, even though I have had no sleep since last night after I heard about Goldie's death(we really should say a big Thank God Its Friday), my thumb hurts still but trust me, after my morning conversation with Pastor M, I can freely say, Halleluyah, I needed that, and a hug.

The cause of death has been found, Susan "Goldie" Harvey died last night, February 14th, 2013 at the Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria from Pulmonary Embolism. 

After confirming from her best friend, Denrele Edun, yesterday that the singer, Goldie  passed away right there in his sight at the Reddington Hospital at about 9:37 pm late last night, (valentines day) February 14th, 2013, the news became a wild fire. Many refused it and called it a rumour(as well as I), some were too busy in the arms of their loved ones (in my case, my bed), but this morning, we all woke up to the reality, that sensational R n B singer, Susan Oluwabimpe "Goldie" Harvey is dead! She only just arrived into the country yesterday evening from the United States of America and a few minutes later, she collapsed and stopped breathing, she was rushed to the hospital, but there was nothing the doctors could do as she was already dead. The hospital did not kill Goldie as some tabloids say, she died from a cause of death called "Pulmonary Embolism"

Growing up in a family where music was virtually the only bright spot in a tripartite existence that revolved round home, school and church, it did not come as much surprise that Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey now known as Goldie chose to be a singer, songwriter and performer.

If it was to give vent to a childhood social denial, available in dices indicate's that Goldie made a resounding success of her career choice. The crown of Nigeria’s nonpareil pop diva now nestles snugly on her golden mane. Despite the mixed reactions to her musical style and outré outlook, Goldie fitted perfectly into the role of Nigeria’s most consistent female performer of the moment but now gone.

She will be missed, always, rest in peace our dear Goldie.

Goldie, 29 years of age was signed to Kennis Music Record Label and was known for the hit track "You Know it -Gboko lowo e" featuring Eldee before her world fame at the Big Brother Africa All Star reality game show.
