GOOD OLD DAYS ON A WAY BACK WEDNESDAY

Episode 7

Aloha! Greetings from the island of Mahe ( Nope, I didn't make it to Seychelles this holiday cos I heard the island is drowning), okay greetings from my mothers house! I know, so you thought as I am on holiday I will be in one exotic Island now right? Wrong! I am in my mothers house. She refused me to travel, don't know why but, mothers always know best.

This week is all about me taking a chill pill as I take a chilled leave. Eyin Eyan Mi, ( In yoruba, it means, " My People") I totally have no clue as to why we take these much needed breaks if we know we are not travelling cos truth be told, I have spent more money in the house than travelling or being at work. Honestly, no Nigerian should eat three (3) square meal daily given the economic situation, heck I usually eat once a day but with this holiday, I've found myself eating three (3) times a day and I need stop it before I become obese (No disrespecting here to you reading this that is obese, thank you). Now back to the matter, just cos I am on holiday that doesn't mean I am literally restings, here are the top things I have been preoccupied with.

1. Exercise.

Daniel, my fitness instructor has arranged a series of vigorous exercise scheduled for the 10 days I am away for. ( Hot girl winter loading, lol)

2. Time With God.
My spirituality has tremendous grown through this period, although just 5 days in, I have been feeding my spirit and soul with the word of God, and interesting fact I learned is that I have a shocking amout of faith these days that literally move mountains as I have had more testimony by just doing as being told by T.D Jakes, Andrew Womac, Creflo Dollar and Joseph Prince ( Daystar Network on DSTV is a blessing).

3. Mental Health.
Nothing beats meditation, reading the right books for mental clarity ( soft and hard copy), self love, and little indulgence here and there. ( Took myself out to see a movie).

4.Eating Healthy

Trust me, I have traced my cooking habits again, and this time, its with a bang! (Ain't nobody stopping me this season, listen, I literally made my own home made Kenturkey Fried Chicken, yes! I did that and more.

5. 2020 Vision

This is the best time to map out a plan for your life, before another decade meets you and you are stuck in regreta. Pick a pen and paper, start to "Organise Your Life" , just as Sam Adeyemi would say.

So, that's about what I have been upto, for now, next week, I hope when you read this, a miracle would have happened for you, just as I hope more would for me. Till nect episode, remember, to get the best out of this journal, you must be following me on all social media platforms @Vien007, instagram, twitter, facebook, snapchat and online at www.vien-smart.blogspot.com. Talk to you soon, but till then be Kind to one another. xoxo

R.I.P GOLDIE- The true cause of death of Goldie Harvey

Glad I can say T.G.I.F, I am thankful for today, even though I have had no sleep since last night after I heard about Goldie's death(we really should say a big Thank God Its Friday), my thumb hurts still but trust me, after my morning conversation with Pastor M, I can freely say, Halleluyah, I needed that, and a hug. LATE GOLDIE HARVEY  COVER'S  MYSTREETZ MAGAZINE . The cause of death has been found, Susan "Goldie" Harvey died last night, February 14th, 2013 at the Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria from Pulmonary Embolism.  After confirming from her best friend, Denrele Edun, yesterday that the singer, Goldie  passed away right there in his sight at the Reddington Hospital at about 9:37 pm late last night, (valentines day) February 14th, 2013, the news became a wild fire. Many refused it and called it a rumour(as well as I), some were too busy in the arms of their loved ones (in my case, my bed), but this morning, we all woke up to the r...
