THE JOURNEY (THE RUNDOWN WITH VIEN007)

So I have been in hibernation for like forever, but back and by the grace of God, I am here for real and will be my fun, truthful self again like I was in 1999 (Oops! Blog started for me in 2000's laughing out loud).

I used to be the queen of night radio( Well technically, nobody has knocked my hustle yet so I remain the best), suddenly, my boss felt I was not bringing in money but ratings were high hence they moved me abruptly to the day show between 2 and 5 pm, I was like (This can not be happening, but it is and there's nothing we can do about it.

Totally feel I betrayed the night lovers for almost 3 years, to suddenly pull the cable and not give them an alternative but then again, (Them self no try) I told them to get me sponsors but it fell on def ears, now they send me mails accusing me of making them insomniacs( Hello, I can never make you that!you couldn't sleep hence you found my dial, 105.1 duh!) and leaving them high and dry, bad news is I too can't sleep.

Last night was the worst! Was up until 3 am then started having break in transmission kind of sleep all through till 7 am and it was already time for morning devotion, I hope I don;t sleep on air today as I am now looking for short nap in-between but it's not coming at all.

Will be back at night to finish the day's story after my show "The Rundown With Vien" on Radio, but right now, if you wan't a glimpse of what I do on City 105.1 Fm Lagos radio, from 2:00 Pm to 5:00 Pm (Nigeria Time) find the dial on Tune In App. That's all.

R.I.P GOLDIE- The true cause of death of Goldie Harvey

Glad I can say T.G.I.F, I am thankful for today, even though I have had no sleep since last night after I heard about Goldie's death(we really should say a big Thank God Its Friday), my thumb hurts still but trust me, after my morning conversation with Pastor M, I can freely say, Halleluyah, I needed that, and a hug. The cause of death has been found, Susan "Goldie" Harvey died last night, February 14th, 2013 at the Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria from Pulmonary Embolism. After confirming from her best friend, Denrele Edun, yesterday that the singer, Goldie passed away right there in his sight at the Reddington Hospital at about 9:37 pm late last night, (valentines day) February 14th, 2013, the news became a wild fire. BREAKING NEWS, FIRE AT OREGUN IKEJA, LAGOS

There is a massive fire out break in a building behind John Holt, its almost burned to ashes at Oregun, Ikeja Lagos, the building is not so far from my office, City Fm 105.1, I took this pictures from the roof top. FIRE SERVICE TRUCK RUSHING THERE FOR THE SECOND ROUND SEE THE SMOKE The Fire service got there 30 minutes ago and are still trying to put it out, I will be back to let you know the progress reports, got to go back on air the show, Breakfast in the City, on City 105.1 Fm with Oscar, later all.
