GEORGE FLYOD (MY 2 CENTS)

Hello dear, have you heard? Did you see? Do you know?    Have you ever wondered why we do the things that set our souls on fire? Ever wondered why your favourite colour is what it is? Ever wondered why you have a life which sometimes you feel is not enough? Ever wondered of the world being spherical yet we never fall off it? Well, that’s how I feel whenever I am about to write an article on here. I wonder a lot but one thing I never do is doubt that there is a God and well-wishers and people who are just in your corner, and for this, I want to say thank you to God!  Now to the article for today, I had wanted to give some relationship nuggets as this is my forte, but with what is currently trending right now, I had to save that piece for next week( So, don’t forget to set a reminder for that). This piece took me, 3 days to put together ‘cos I had to find a way to express myself and not be swayed by my emotions but the truth. The world right now asides experiencing a pandemic, is in the

HOW DID YOU SPEND LABOUR DAY 2020?

Second Monday in May but the first, May 1st, 2020, was a workers day that didn't feel like one, well, welcome to the new normal again. Yes! Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about, there is a pandemic out here that has driven the world mad on social media and in real life. Celebrities are no longer getting paid, everybody is on social media dropping things they can never take back as the internet never forgets, mummies are on extra duties, some dads would rather spend the rest of their lives in isolation but not with their wives, side chicks, on the other hand, are no longer a thing, farmers are the new billionaires while doctors are the new superheroes, what a time to be in. Today I just want to share with you 3 things that lockdown in Nigeria has made me discover, other than the theories mentioned above, for real, there are some new discoveries that one should never take for granted that has been discovered through the lockdown. I LEARNED HOW TO COOK BETTER Bops! I n

THE NEW NORMAL

Oh, the little things I miss….. A handshake, a high five, a hug! COVID-19 robs the world of the little things but we shall overcome, amen. So today I literally just want to share with you how I have been living and the new changes I have had to make to survive the times we are in and beyond. First off, my Instagram account analytics are no longer adding up to the number of views and likes as before ‘cos now, based on the lockdown order, I can’t really tell when its best to post anything unlike before when you were certain at a particular time, people would be online after or before work as to now when everybody is off work. As for my eating healthy habits and diet, that is totally out of the park as these days we eat what we have, to work out regularly with my gym instructor is a no-no as this used to be a house call, now I monitor myself to work out and trust me, I am not as disciplined as he was but I manage to sneak in some time to do some workout routine even if it’s once a week, n
