HOW DID YOU SPEND LABOUR DAY 2020?

Second Monday in May but the first, May 1st, 2020, was a workers day that didn't feel like one, well, welcome to the new normal again.

Yes! Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about, there is a pandemic out here that has driven the world mad on social media and in real life. Celebrities are no longer getting paid, everybody is on social media dropping things they can never take back as the internet never forgets, mummies are on extra duties, some dads would rather spend the rest of their lives in isolation but not with their wives, side chicks, on the other hand, are no longer a thing, farmers are the new billionaires while doctors are the new superheroes, what a time to be in.

Today I just want to share with you 3 things that lockdown in Nigeria has made me discover, other than the theories mentioned above, for real, there are some new discoveries that one should never take for granted that has been discovered through the lockdown.

I LEARNED HOW TO COOK BETTER
Bops! I now sleep on YouTube to learn how to make different delicious recipes that on a good day I spend plenty of naira, trying to acquire, not for hire, (What in the world am I typing, lol), bottom line is, there are tons of meals you can cook for free that is cost-effective and you do not necessarily have to cry over not being able to visit your favorite restaurant during this pandemic. Another beautiful thing is the fact that I have now also started a new cook show on radio called Bon Appetit With Vien007, catch it live on City 105.1 Fm on Fridays at 4:30 Pm on The Run Down.



I LEARNED THERE IS A LOT TO ME
Again, this past 4 weeks was very productive for me, I was able to sit down and brainstorm, I can tell you for free, I made so much progress that even I am marveling at the great things I am about to do, and things that I am doing already. Guess this Covid-19 for real was designed for me. I hope you too have used the time out to figure out what next! As time waits for no man, you must move now and start making decisions that can help put food on your table now that must revolve around the new world we have found ourselves in.

Finally, I LEARNED TO LET GO AND LET GOD
No need to talk too much, we all fall in here, we all made plans, to travel, to buy that new thing, to go to more events, but look where we are, but regardless, in all, give thanks, as thanksgiving is the way to live today and always.

R.I.P GOLDIE- The true cause of death of Goldie Harvey

Glad I can say T.G.I.F, I am thankful for today, even though I have had no sleep since last night after I heard about Goldie's death(we really should say a big Thank God Its Friday), my thumb hurts still but trust me, after my morning conversation with Pastor M, I can freely say, Halleluyah, I needed that, and a hug. WEEKEND SPECIAL 15 OAP'S OSCAR AND TITI (FANTA) OYINSAN WELCOME BABY GIRLS (TWINS)

   Gees! its 15 weeks already? now I know why baby Nonoh is bigger than the actual form she was as a baby (sperm!, laughing hard), speaking of sperm, I do know a couple expecting soon, and here is my experience at their crib just last week when I got stuck at the studio and needed a place to stay(Day time good Samaritan's). Put in mind, this is the baby making season, yes and it also is the rainy season, make sure you are protected at all times(If you know what I mean! all forms of "Rain Coat" is necessary at this time aight) . So I was stranded and couldn't make it home to Festac by 10 pm but got an offer to chill over at the expecting Mr. and Mrs. and I must say, I got the VIP treatment, trust me when I say the bathroom in the Mrs. room was filled with everything, wish I could take some more pictures but guess I can only take just on section due to the request from both parties, (I have to hold back these pictures) sorry people.
