NEVER GIVE UP

Can I be great I ask my self on a regular, as I sit her contemplating to eat fried eggs and yam with a foreign delicacy Pierre taught me, ( Plantain and Ketchup ) I am listening to Asa, Eye Adaba from her self titled "ASA" album and all I can think of is my life.


Why is my case different? Can't I be great? Why must the next lady get all the shows and sponsors in the world while I seemingly struggle for just one advert break? Isn't it Christmas? Why no money rolling in like it did when I was young, when uncles and aunties would come home with gifts and cash for me? Truth be told I could ask why, why, why, for the next 25 minutes but it is the wrong question, also could say when? its the wrong one as well, How? How? How? (3 Time cos I need it to sink in) is the right question.


Time they say waits for no man, but for me, I act like I have a time machine in my palms but then I remember, time changes yesterday (For those who went to Federal Government College Ijanikin, you just remembered the same book title by "NYENGI KOIN", and yes it is a good read), I am a woman now, not the little girl, I miss the good old days when I wasn't stressed out to work, but then again, growth just like change is inevitable.


For the year 2017, I have been through hell and back, but currently going through heaven as I discover the big question, "HOW", and here is my greatest discovery.


We never sit down to draft out our life plan, most of us just stumbled upon our jobs ( Trust me, it happened to me ), the better of us got used to it but forgot to master every skill then bounce (Move On), for me, today as I writ, I figure this out. God did not design you to remain in one spot, so explore, try new adventure, fail, succeed, cry if you must but the "How" is simple.

R.I.P GOLDIE- The true cause of death of Goldie Harvey

Glad I can say T.G.I.F, I am thankful for today, even though I have had no sleep since last night after I heard about Goldie's death(we really should say a big Thank God Its Friday), my thumb hurts still but trust me, after my morning conversation with Pastor M, I can freely say, Halleluyah, I needed that, and a hug. The cause of death has been found, Susan "Goldie" Harvey died last night, February 14th, 2013 at the Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria from Pulmonary Embolism.  After confirming from her best friend, Denrele Edun, yesterday that the singer, Goldie  passed away right there in his sight at the Reddington Hospital at about 9:37 pm late last night, (valentines day) February 14th, 2013, the news became a wild fire. BREAKING NEWS, FIRE AT OREGUN IKEJA, LAGOS

There is a massive fire out break in a building behind John Holt, its almost burned to ashes at Oregun, Ikeja Lagos, the building is not so far from my office, City Fm 105.1, I took this pictures from the roof top. FIRE SERVICE TRUCK RUSHING THERE FOR THE SECOND ROUND SEE THE SMOKE The Fire service got there 30 minutes ago and are still trying to put it out, I will be back to let you know the progress reports, got to go back on air the show, Breakfast in the City, on City 105.1 Fm with Oscar, later all.
