So just like DSTV, I was hoping for so much more when they cut off my subscription in the middle of the match between Nigeria and Tahiti . Well glad I will soon be on a better plan to get that sorted out wherever, when and if I choose to.
Been on a "I don't give a ...." mood these past few weeks, but just yesterday I got my pay slip (yes!! you can say that again, I have a huge smile on my face), in my E.I.E Gear T-Shirt from the clothing line, this means shopping time, laughing hard. Speaking about shopping, I finally signed on with Bbotti Fashion World, and ladies, this simply means you will finally get that shoes, bags or sandal you like and if its from my page you buy one, you get to pay a discount of 30% off what the original price should be (I can imagine some lady reading this now dancing to azonto, may Wizkid catch you, smiles).

Just yesterday (Tuesday), I had the most interesting hangout ever, not talking about Google plus hangout but rather a one on one with someone I consider a good friend and a great listeners (If he were single though, I would literally have approved him as the winner of Vien's Next Top Boyfriend),

TRYING TO CHANNEL MY BUSINESS LOOK |
yeah you read well, given that these days every and anyone now has a reality show, it wouldn't be a bad idea for myself to join in you know, (laughing hard), but a more serious case today is the celebration of the World Sickle Cell Day, actually, the 3rd edition and as I am aware of this date the 19th of June, I want to use this medium to say a big shout out to those living with the SCD and those who have passed away, here are a few tips for you to help them.
Home treatment for
sickle cell disease includes steps to control pain and prevent complications of the disease. If you don't already have a home treatment plan, ask your doctor to help you develop one. Use this plan whenever symptoms are present. Your plan may include:
Special needs of people living with sickle cell disease
You can help your child cope with special needs in school by:
- Making arrangements with teachers or a tutor to help your child keep pace with classmates when illness causes absences from school.
- Explaining to teachers that children with sickle cell disease may need to use the bathroom more often than other kids. They also need more water than the other students. Not drinking enough water can raise the chance of a sickle cell crisis.
- Educating teachers and other school employees about the signs and symptoms of sickle cell disease that need urgent medical care. Written instructions will help school personnel know what to do and who to call in an emergency.
Children with sickle cell disease can usually
exercise and play normally if they:
- Drink plenty of fluids before, during, and after exercise. Lack of fluids (dehydration) can cause cells to sickle.
- Get regular rest breaks during vigorous exercise.

JUMPING JACK |
EXERCISE FOR TODAY IS JUMPING JACKS, A GOOD CARDIO WORKOUT PLAN
- Stay warm. Exposure to cold air, wind, and water can trigger a painful event. Dress children in warm layers of clothing for cold-weather activities. Avoid swimming and playing in cold water.
Folic acid supplements are often a necessary part of the
diet for people with sickle cell disease, particularly if you aren't eating enough folate-rich leafy vegetables (such as spinach).
