THE "PUTTING PRESSURE" OF LOVE

Yet again! The need to talk about a past event is on my mind right now, I don't know why but, I woke up to another reminder that 2020 valentine’s day was spent alone!I saw it flash in my sleep today. Honestly, if you ask me, I feel like everyone should totally forget about valentine’s day, like forget about the gifts, forget about the flowers, forget about all the merchandise and stuff that comes with it all! I know that valentine’s day for me it’s just like a regular day and a walk in the park. Now don’t say I am the grinch, I obviously am not, listen, the thing is, a lot of people use the day tagged "Valentines"as a way to escape from the reality of what it is they are facing in their relationship. Like, suffering since your husband beats you every other day or if you have a wife who literally just makes your life unbearable and all. Let’s bring it down to dating, let’s say your boyfriend is someone who literally cheats on you every other day or your girlfriend is like ...

BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER, STAY SAFE.

14 HOURS AGO 1 0 So I have been under the weather this past couple of days and thinking on it, I am again reminded of the blessing of health. We have been on lockdown in Lagos for eleven days now and I am reminded of the blessing of being content with your own company because trust me I would have run mad by now. Just kidding. I really don’t have much to say this week so I’ll just share video clips of all I have been up to. I got a new baby for my birthday, not the human kind. Calm down. You’ll see. And the little flu won’t certainly stop my fitness journey so I added my work out video for y’all. We will certainly overcome and come out even stronger when this is over. Remember, please and please, especially in these times, be kind to one another In conclusion, find me everywhere especially on Instagram & Twitter @vien007 cos on there, I am that ray of sunshine you need to see these days to put a smile on your face, also find my BlogSpot via www.vien-smart.blogspot.com Xoxo Vien 007

HEAL THE WORLD

APRIL 3, 2020 0 0 https://www.instagram.com/p/B-kQNgHhS2r/ People are learning to live for the very first time, people have more clarity to what the real picture of the world really should be, no war to focus on again, now the world has the same news, those who use to say oh I am too busy now have time but no freedom to move, husbands running away from wives are now stuck with them, (oga you must love madam), and madam wey dey fly upandan, you must sit with oga, mummys and daddies with nannies are now mummies and daddies again, playboys now see reason as to why they should marry and settle down instead of jumping up and down from one mini skirt to the other, women now see that they need a man, (not every time being single), couples now want to try harder again to learn for better for worse all over, listen, this is a hard reset, man-made or not, my advice to all is that you see the loop holes in life with this time given to us that will never come back again. So, I have had the best ou...

You just need to know the basics e.g for starters in the journey, you need coconut oil, water, Shea butter, which costs very little, compared to weaves and wigs. You feel lighter and more confident wearing your natural hair, it’s a woman’s crown. Question:  What is the myth behind castor oil and hair growth? An...

I THINK I'VE FOUND THE FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

FEBRUARY 21, 2020 0 0 Episode 14                                                                        Another day and I’m here again! What a way to start stuff on lifestyle. I would say I am here again just because of the fact that I know that time is totally fickle, is fading away gradually and before you know it you’re 40 years old, you wake up and then again you’re 60 years old. That aside, I’m moving on how about you could use your time wisely. As a woman, marriage and raising children could consume our lives, and take priority over the one thing that you’ve always wanted to achieve. But really, will you die before your time? Wouldn’t it be better if you pace yourself? They’re different routines I observe that keep me young. From exercising to the food I eat, my dressing and hairstyle that could actually...

FEBRUARY 28, 2020 3 1                      Nutrition! Nutrition! Nutrition! This is all I need to survive and a little bit of exercise yeah? Honestly, imagine a world where you can afford the right meals at the right time, you know you will be extra healthy and looking all fresh( Fresher than Agege bread if you know what I mean). Do you like the cover picture? That’s the kind of "um" you get when you eat healthily. Let’s just continue this episode on food ‘cos, in all honesty, the human body needs food, the right food to keep the body together, I figured some will say they need soul food too, but today, my focus is on the food we eat, through our mouth (lol). I am really not huge on dieting and all, but when I want a toned body asides workout, I eat right, now what do I eat right? Peep the list. Whole Grains Legumes Milk Yogurt Lots of Fish Vegetables(Ugwu, Pepper, Tomatoes, Onions) Mixed Fruits Ginger & Garlic Gouda cheese Frui...

TO KEEP OR NOT TO KEEP THIS NEW FIGURE?

JANUARY 31, 2020 2 0                                                            Lately, everybody has been saying that I am losing a lot of weight and nope, I do not have HIV neither am I suffering from any grave illness but the gag is (in Keke Palmer’s voice), it’s my work out routine and, my gym instructor is not letting me enjoy this life the chubby way. For example, I am no longer allowed to eat chocolate or groundnuts except in smoothies. I have had to give up the Nigerian rice for Basmati rice that comes from China (deep) but with closed borders, Naija rice wassup?(lol). Furthermore, I can’t eat anything sweet, I am currently stuck with substituting white bread for shawarma bread. I can’t have soda, now that I think about it, how won’t I lose a lot of weight when I can’t eat all of these? I can fry eggs only with Olive Oil. I think I...
