Yet another beautiful, cool Thursday morning, and "the sun shall soon shine" is the tongue twister on my mind as i type, but no way, the rain is heading for Lasgidi as it always has for 3days straight now, no sun rays even doing peak a boo, but i must set out for my hot date with Eki A.k.A, Jellyma, as i fondly call her, did i mention that my girlfriend has a celebrity look alike! yes! and its none other than ...(drum rolls)...Stella Damasus, check her out in my Celebrity look alike page. Back to my day, so, i did the regular daily routine and set out, heading straight for Ozone Cinemas at Yaba. First of all, i kept Eki waiting for 2 hours, and i wanted to meet up with her on time, so i took an okada(bike), this bike man is the slowest bike man ever, even a bicycle is faster, he also stopped on the high way to fix something and then when we finally got to the bus stop, he began the search for change, at this moment, the sky was turning worse than Grey and he was just standing there like a goose watching and sitting on its egg till it hatches, i cant seem to wrap my fingers around the fact of how funny this dude was, well, need i say more, you can already tell what happened to me afterwards, *drenched*! is the term to use, laughing hard, like that was not enough, the bus conductor also did his.
Do to others what you want others to do unto you, sow a seed of what you shall reap, remember that, cos its the key lesson in today's journey. Imagine using an umbrella in a moving bus? well, that also happened to me, and the conductor was to blame. After much pleading with him to close his bus door and he refused to, saying, the showers wont pour, well, it eventually poured and we all realized that the door was actually bad so that's why he was dodging to close it, i was really upset but could do nothing, but as it would seem, he got to a bus stop to drop off a passenger and then he needed an umbrella. You can imagine, he asked for my umbrella, i know i preach be kind to one another, but today, this other needed not my kindness, it was so annoying for him to even ask, well, i wanted to give him but the whole bus passengers rained lashing tongues on me saying, "no give am o! (don't give him). well, he sowed that seed of not helping so he too got no help.
Getting to Ijesha now, then Lawanson, then Ozone, wow! what a broken journey all for an old friend, she was looking, (PHAT) pretty, hot, and tempting. We hugged and went up the stairs, grabbed 2 plates of moi moi, chicken and jollof rice, with drinks to go, hmm, she reminds me of the good old day when we used to model, Independent chicks the type that brothers want, loll, we had the people staring cos we were keeping it real. Later saw the movie Battle Ship, staring Liam Neeson, Rihanna and the lead actor in the movie, John Carter who happened to be the lead in this too, and Married But Living Single staring Funke Akindele and Joseph Benjamin, both movies were interesting. We said our good byes after i dropped her off at home then took another bike all the way from her crib to mine and you don't wanna know how far the trip was, but sure am glad that i made it home safe and sound. Having cold beverage now, the flu is gone and i miss the fun already, cant wait to go visiting again, hopefully, it will be at the pool cos i didnt enjoy the cinema at yaba, it felt like i was watching a movie with my loud neighbours, LMFAO.
